My journey

Every chapter taught me how to lead the next.

From my father's market stall to international executive leadership, Christian media and a new calling at the intersection of faith and technology.

A career shaped by courageous pivots

My career has never followed a straight line.

It has taken me from recruitment and sales to a six-figure corporate career; from profound personal loss to beginning again at entry level in Christian ministry; and from broadcast leadership to a new chapter focused on digital transformation, responsible AI and faith technology.

01

Hard graft

The beginning

From the market stall to recruitment and sales.

My career did not begin in a boardroom. It began on my father's market stall, where I learned to turn up, serve people, understand what they needed and earn their trust.

I carried those lessons into recruitment and sales, developing the ability to identify potential, create opportunity and deliver results. That combination of commercial awareness and people-centred leadership became a consistent thread throughout my career.

02

Global leadership

The executive boardroom

A first—and a responsibility.

I progressed into increasingly senior roles across recruitment, engineering, technology and global business before becoming Vice President of Staffing for North America at Tata Technologies, a Tata Group company.

I led a $30 million sales and delivery business unit and became the first woman in the company's 25-year history to lead that function. I was frequently the only woman—and often the only female executive of colour—in the boardroom.

Those experiences taught me how to lead when highly visible, influence across cultures and remain grounded while making decisions that affect businesses, teams and lives around the world.

03

Loss and faith

A life changed

When success could not protect me from loss.

While living in the United States, my first husband, Benny, died unexpectedly following an asthma attack. In a single moment, the life I had worked so hard to build changed completely.

Bereavement confronted me with questions that professional success could not answer. It began a painful journey through grief, identity and faith—a journey I later shared in my book, From Grief to Glory.

I encountered Jesus, returned to the UK with my young son and began reconsidering what success, purpose and leadership truly meant.

04

Begin again

Christian ministry

From entry level to another first.

Leaving the corporate world meant surrendering the title, salary and status I had spent years building. I entered Christian ministry at entry level and began again.

Over time, I progressed into national leadership and became the first woman to serve as National Director of the Christian Broadcasting Network in the UK.

I led teams, partnerships, humanitarian outreach and media initiatives. I also helped move the organisation beyond a primarily broadcast-led approach by recognising how digital platforms could extend its reach, deepen engagement and introduce new audiences to the Gospel.

Digital technology was not simply another communications channel. Used thoughtfully, it could transform how mission-led organisations reach people, build relationships and create lasting impact.

05

Recognition

Woman of Distinction

Recognition rooted in service.

In June 2025, I was recognised as a SHE Leads UK Woman of Distinction at an international gathering of Christian women leaders in Windsor, attended by HRH Sophie, The Duchess of Edinburgh.

The recognition connected me with an international community of women using leadership, faith and influence to create change across business, government, media, education, ministry and public life.

For me, the award was not simply recognition of a position. It affirmed a life of leadership shaped by service, courage, reinvention and faith.

06

Another pivot

Warwick Business School

Another loss. Another beginning.

In June 2025, I experienced another devastating loss when my sister died. Her death caused me to pause once more and consider what the next chapter of my life was asking of me.

I made the decision to undertake another significant career pivot and pursue an Executive MBA at Warwick Business School, specialising in digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

I was awarded the Inspiring Female Leaders Scholarship, recognising more than two decades of leadership impact and my commitment to advancing women in leadership.

07

The work now

Where faith and technology meet

Technology in service of meaningful human change.

Through HebrewsEleven, I help churches, charities and purpose-led organisations approach artificial intelligence responsibly—aligning innovation with mission, accountability, good governance and human dignity.

As a Faith Technologist, I explore how digital technology can help advance the Gospel through evangelism, prayer, discipleship and trusted human connection.

The initiatives include Digital Gospel Experiences and Prayer Pulse, all part of the One Million Salvations mission.

I believe technology can open doors. But it must never cause us to lose sight of the people standing on the other side.

Why my journey matters

I do not speak about change as an abstract leadership theory.

I have led through international expansion, organisational pressure, digital transformation, personal reinvention, bereavement, ministry, entrepreneurship and technological disruption.

I understand what it means to reach the room you once dreamed of entering. I also understand what it means to leave that room, begin again and build something new.

Your next chapter

A different future may require a different kind of courage.

Let's talk about the change you are leading—and how we might partner together.
